Sharing our Faith

This Week

Sharing our Faith — Who Could You Invite?

In this Sunday's Gospel, Peter asks Jesus, "How often must I forgive?" Jesus' answer reminds us that the mercy we have received from God is never meant to stop with us. Having experienced mercy ourselves, we are called to become people of mercy for others.

The same is true of our faith. Faith is not something we are given simply to keep to ourselves. It is a gift to be shared. There are people all around us who may be quietly searching, questioning or wondering about God. Our invitation, our friendship or our example may be the way Christ reaches them.

This week, perhaps ask yourself: Who is one person with whom I could gently share something of the faith that has been given to me?
