  • It is for the applicant to ensure that they meet all legal requirements and conditions that may affect their use of the hall or the running of any event.
  • All applicants must be over 21. No 18th birthday parties or similar events are permitted.
  • Your booking is secured on receipt of your non-refundable deposit, if applicable to your hall event.

  • The maximum capacity of the main hall is 80 people — no exceeding of this limit will be permitted.
  • The applicant shall be responsible for any damage.
  • Ensure all windows and doors are locked and secure when leaving the hall. There are 3 doors to be locked. The main doors to the hall itself, the doors from the foyer to the toilets and the main hall and the external doors onto the street.
  • The keys must be returned to the lock safe box at the front door at the end of the event. You must not take them home for returning the next day. We regularly can have early users of the hall the next day who should not be inconvenienced by missing keys.
  • Switch off all appliances in the kitchen when leaving the hall.
  • At evening events, these must be finished by 11.00pm (or earlier as agreed). The hall must be cleaned, locked, and closed by 11.30pm.

  • Car parking may be available in the Church car park but it is not guaranteed. Cars must not be parked overnight in the car park in front of the Church.
  • There are no bar facilities available.
  • All food catering is the responsibility of the applicant. An External Caterer Declaration form or Personal Catering Declaration form must be completed.

  • The hall including all surfaces, tables, and chairs must be wiped clean after the event so that it is left in the same condition in which it was provided. Ensure all carpets and wooden flooring are vacuumed clean with the provided equipment.
  • The applicant must remove chair covers at the end of the function. The use of confetti and party poppers within the hall is discouraged. Please do not blu-tack, pin, or tape anything to the walls.
  • Remove all rubbish in suitable bin bags. Please do not place in church bins. Please take them home for disposal via your own bins.
